postheadericon How to Save Water

Water as we all know is a limited natural resource that must be conserved. There are many places that suffer scarcity of water supply. People should be aware of the consequences when we run out of water.

There are various ways to save or conserve water. Saving water at home and yard can save thousand of gallons of water as well as saving thousands of money annually.

  1. Wash full loads. When washing clothes wait until you have a full wash loads and use the economy mode for this will save you both in water and electricity. The same goes with dishwashers, load it full and you save water compared to washing by hands.
  2. Use recycled water in watering your garden. Water your plants individually with a hose to be sure that sufficient amount of water gets right to the plant’s roots instead of using sprinkler. Water only the areas that need it.
  3. Turn the faucet off while brushing teeth, shaving, washing your hands. Use wet washcloth when washing face instead of splashing water direct from the faucet.
  4. Use recycled water from kid’s bath or from laundry in cleaning your car or if it is raining let your car wet with rain water so you will use less water for the car is already half clean.
  5. Use a Water Ionizer and bottle your own water. Ionized water only stays ionized for a day or so, however the water is still great to drink and can be used for other things. I use a KyK Water Ionizer

These are only few tips on how to save water. There are still numerous and helpful ways on how to conserve water. It is our calling to help in water conservation.
